Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
and Welcome to My Blog!
Hello everyone!!! Today is my first official post on my new blog and I am so excited! I figured that today would be a fun first post because of all the St. Patrick's Day festivities. No, we are not Irish haha! We just enjoy any excuse to dress Carly up in a special outfit and take a hundred pictures of her!
It was SUCH a beautiful day so I just had to get pictures of the African daisies that are blooming in our yard. I promise Carly was happy, ha! She is all smiles and giggles until a camera is in front of her, then I think she is more focused on trying to figure out what that thing is that is always in her face haha!
Adding to the day's festive feel, I made chicken & avocado Chile Verde enchiladas and a spinach salad.
While I was busy making dinner, taking random photo breaks when Carly was just being way too darn cute in her St. Patrick's Day outfit....
...we snacked on Tostitos Hint of Lime tortilla chips (our fav!) with the new Cantina Chipotle salsa (also Tostitos brand) and homemade Andes Mint Shamrock shakes!
...and if THAT wasn't enough, I sent a batch of these delicious Chocolate Mint Brownies and Cake Layered Cupcakes with my husband to work, but of course held on to a few for us!
From what I hear, they where a big hit!
So, as you can see, our St. Patrick's Day was full of Carly cuteness and yummy food! That's pretty much how our holidays go around here, like I said, any excuse I can get to put Carly in a special outfit and make her a new headband I will take it! So here are a few parting shots that I just couldn't leave out!
Such a good idea!! Cute pictures and good food, win win! Carly has the "I'm cute and I know it face," DOWN. Almost too much to handle!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I would like to try a cupcake! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, is Carly gonna be a blondie?! So cute!! :) Keep up the adorable posts, Mama.. they will be so great to look back on, AND we love seeing her grow! Love, Meg
