This was our family before our little princess came along! We found out we were pregnant on Christmas Eve 2011, the day that would forever change our lives in so many wonderful ways. My handsome and hilarious husband John, I have actually known since the 4th grade, although we didn't start dating until the college years. He is a wonderful provider for our family which allows me to be a stay/play-at-home mom/wife :) He is without a doubt the funniest person I know and is always making me laugh, especially in public places where he enjoys completely embarrassing me (the man has no boundaries!). The little nugget in the photo is our Chihuahua, Kiya. She was a stray I rescued before John and I got together, and has always been my little lazy baby and super mellow- I swear if she could eat, drink, and pee all while asleep in her bed, she would. Duke is our goofy brindle Boxer that we rescued from a shelter shortly after we got married. He is also pretty lazy (we call him Eeyore), but he has such a funny personality which keeps life interesting. These two get along so well and will play for hours, it is hilarious!

 We decided once we found out we were pregnant that we were going to wait until delivery day to find out the sex of our baby, and we are SO happy we did! It was such a wonderful experience and we would totally do it again! It gave us even more to look forward to on delivery day :)

Carly "Button" (as we call her now), is the love of our lives and the most amazing gift

God could have given us! She brings us so much joy and happiness.
